Julie Atherton Performs at London’s Apollo Theatre

West End Star Julie Atherton will take to the stage of London’s Apollo theatre for her biggest solo concert yet. Joined by fellow West Enders Richard Fleeshman, Daniel Boys and Jon Lee, the concert on Sunday 26th June is sure to be a date in the diary of any musical theatre fan.

The concert promises songs from Julie’s second album ‘No Space For Air’ as well as guest appearances from American composer Lance Horne and ‘Portrait of a Princess’ composer, Michael Bruce. As every Atherton fan would expect, the concert will also feature songs from Avenue Q, The Last Five Years and Ordinary Days, as well as a few suprises thrown in.

Julie Atherton is best known for originating the role of Kate Monster in the London premiere of Avenue Q.  As well as Avenue Q, Julie’s vast theatre career covers such shows as The Last 5 Years, Mamma Mia! and Fame. Julie is also an experienced concert vocalist, having performed at such diverse venues as the Royal Albert Hall and the Donmar Warehouse. Her second album, ‘No Space For Air’ was released last year under Speckulation Entertainment.
