NEWS – West End Concert Raises Money For Jennifer Charity

On Monday 31st October some of the best of the West End will come together at the Lyric theatre in support of “A Night For Jennifer”, which will raise money for Jennifer Charity. Jennifer Charity supports widowed fathers and was founded by James and Graham Edgington, father and son, following the death of Jennifer in 1985. Graham was left as a single parent struggling to care for a sixteen month old child as well as working a full time job and trying to deal with his own grief. On researching support for widowed fathers, James was shocked by the lack of organisations offering help and support to grieving, newly widowed fathers. There are many exceptional charities who help single parents and often single mothers, but nothing exclusively for men.

Amongst the cast gracing the stage on the 31st October will be -Access All Arias, AJ, Sabrina Aloueche, Zee Asha, Newley Aucutt, Bloomfield Avenue, Gina Beck, Celebrating The Carpenters, Joseph Connor , Nadine Cox, James Edgington, Jonathan Eio, Father and Son, Ashleigh Gray, Chloe Hart, Danny Lane, Jeremy Legat, Sister Mary McCarthur, Stephen Oliver-Webb, Chris Passey, Charlotte Payne, Sophia Ragavelas – Kayleigh Stephenson, Nathan Taylor, Vanity, Steven Webb and Mazz Murray with WOMAN. The night will also be given a little more glitz and glamour thanks to the Jennifer Choir, made up of some of the West End’s finest!

Tickets are available for this one night only event online, by phone 0844 482 9674 (24 hours) or at the Lyric Theatre Box Office in person. Tickets are £16 or £21. Chris Macklin, who is producing the concert, has also set up a “We Fund” page, which you may want to use to donate in return for incentives of sorts including invites to the after show party. Click here to donate through We Fund.

I hope as many of you guys as possible can make it for this very special night. I will be there and tickets are great value so there’s no excuses!
