This year’s Children in Need will be a special one for musical theatre, with various celebrities taking to stages all over the West End to perform a song from the show in front of a packed audience.
With the rumours about Peter Andre going into Ghost floating around I was glad to finally hear what was going on. Peter Andre will be joining the cast of Ghost for one night only to perform Unchained Melody. He is not the only celebrity who will be treading the boards for a good cause, though.The Sugababes will be performing Dancing Queen at Mamma Mia! Stacey Soloman will be witching it up in Wicked to sing For Good and Spice Girl Melanie C will be performing the title song from Queen Musical, We Will Rock You.
It’s all for a great cause so I look forward to seeing these performances and seeing them raise the profile of musical theatre. Hopefully it will send audiences flocking to the West End.
